Answers to frequently asked Textbook Buyback questions:
1. The College Store Buyback is always held the week of FINAL EXAMS.
2. The College Store policy is to buy textbooks that are on the current textbook list at approximately 50% of the current new book price.
3.The textbook must be the current edition, correct volume number, and in good condition.
If a textbook is not on the list, the reasons could be as follows:
The College Store has not received a written request from the department for classroom use of the book for the next semester or term.
2. It is an old edition, study guide, workbook, lab manual, or programmed text.
3. In a few cases, the College Store is overstocked.
4. The College Store has bought back the limit based on what the department feel will be their class enrollment.
We may not buy back your textbook if :
1. It is a fill-in textbook that cannot be reused.
2.The textbook has excessive writing in it.
3. The textbook is torn or has pages missing.
